We know there are lots of places to shop online, so we're incredibly grateful every time you choose to support our small business.
If you've found the exact same product at a lower price from another Australian retailer but would like to buy it from us, let us know and we'll see what we can do.
While we can't guarantee every request can be approved, we're always happy to take a look and will do our best to review your request.
How It Works 🌟
To request a price match, simply:
• Complete the Price Match form below
• Send us an email
• Or contact us via Instagram DM
Please include:
• The product name
• A link to the competitor's website
• The advertised price
• Any relevant details about the offer
We aim to review all requests and get back to you within 24 hours.
If we're able to approve your request, we'll provide you with a unique discount code to use at checkout.
Price Match Requirements 💫
For a price match to be considered:
• The product must be exactly the same brand, model, size and variant.
• The item must be in stock and available to purchase from both The Play People and other retailer.
• The other store must be an Australian retailer.
• The item must be available for delivery at the time of the request.
• The advertised price must be publicly available and verifiable online.
• The offer must be live at the time the request is submitted and reviewed.
Please note that screenshots alone are not sufficient for verification. We need to be able to access and verify the current advertised price directly on the retailer's website so please ensure you provide the correct link.
🚚 Shipping Costs Matter Too
When reviewing a request, we may also consider shipping costs and other fees charged by the competitor.In some cases, a lower advertised product price may be offset by higher shipping charges, so we will do our best assess the total value of the offer when determining whether a price match can be be approved.
🎯 A Few Things To Know
• Approval of a price match is not guaranteed even if the above conditions are met.
• We may not be able to match huge discounts/ promotions or clearance prices especially on small brands own websites as these may go below our wholesale purchase price.
• Items are not reserved while a price match request is being assessed. Stock availability may change before a decision is made.
• Price match discount codes cannot be applied to previous orders.
• We reserve the right to decline requests that do not meet the above criteria.
